We often tend to ignore elbows and knees for a long period of time until one day we suddenly realise they have gotten darker and can be visibly identified in dark coloured ski patch. Parlour and skin experts ask for a huge amount of fees to treat them, but we forget that we can treat them at our home.  Here are a few homemade packs to lighten elbow and knees naturally;



1. Grapes and Sugar


It's a great drink! But when you apply it on the skin you will immediately feel the difference. The antioxidants, vitamins and minerals work wonders and sugar exfoliate the skin.

2. Rose water and lemon


Since olden times rose water is considered as a magic potion for the skin! Just mix rose water and lemon juice in portion 3:1 and pour it in to spray bottle. Spray on the face before going to bed and wash off in the morning. You can store this bottle in the fridge.

3. Lemon juice


Lemon juice brightens, rejuvenates and hydrates the skin. It is a very helpful removal of dark patches on elbows and knees. You will be able to notice a visible change after few days of regular used of lemon juice.

4. Tomato juice

Squeeze fresh tomato juice and keep in the fridge for 10 mins before applying. Apply on your knees and elbows and let it sit until dry. Wipe off with a soft cloth or wash with lukewarm water. ‘Tomato has Vit C and natural bleaching agents which will make your skin look brighter and fresher.

5. Alovera gel + Potato juice 


Mix freshly squeezed potato juice and alovera gel in 1:1 proportion. Application of this pack on a regular basis will reduce spots and make your skin look brighter.

These are some ways to lighten your dark elbows and knees. Do not forget to apply sunscreen on these parts as they tend to get darker very fast. A healthy diet is also useful to prevent knees and elbows to get darker.
